Autographed copies

A reader, Sam Hylton, posted a question on the December 15th post asking if I could sell copies of The Long Hunt directly. I’ll be receiving a shipment from the printer by the end of this week, so yes, if anyone would like to purchase an autographed copy, I will be able to sell them directly. Once the Northman Books website is up and running (hopefully by the end of January), it will be possible to place orders there and pay via PayPal, but until then, to purchase a signed copy send a check or money order for $23.00, which includes $6.00 to cover packing and shipping charges, to:

Northman Books Inc.

42438 Holden Creek Ln

Springfield, OR 97478

Please include telephone and email contact information, and if you would like the book inscribed to someone in addition to being signed (example: “To Sam”), please include that information, too.

The $6.00 shipping rate only covers shipments of single copies within the continental U.S. For larger orders, or for orders from outside the continental U.S., please first send an email inquiry to northmanbooks@gmail.com, so I can research shipping costs.

Happy New Year, and I hope it will be a good one for all of you.

  1. I hate to sound like a jerk but when is the next book coming out? Its just that im a little overexcited about what will happen.

    • Second that. I do hope that you enjoy a much deserved vacation and catch up on the things you neglected for this story. But I just feel that this story has been so awesome and it is almost suffocating to have no idea of when the next book comes out. Even just thinking that it will be another 2 years would be preferably better than knowing nothing. It was works like this that has me dreaming of writing my own fiction adventures. Thank you, sir.

      • Thanks, Jay. That was certainly a very nice way to ask. It probably will be 2016 before book 5 comes out. I’m going to complete The Beast of Dublin before I write book 5, because the former book, which takes place in Ireland about five years before the Strongbow Saga begins, is in some ways a prequel to the series. Although it will work as a stand-alone novel, it does introduce some characters, and some relationships between characters, that will come into play during the final part of the Strongbow Saga story–i.e., the second half of book 5, which will take place in Ireland, after the attempt to rescue Sigrid–which takes place in northern Russia–is completed. I have to have all of those characters and details worked out before I write book 5.

I hope to be able to travel to Ireland this summer or fall to do some research for both The Beast of Dublin and book 5, and I hope to complete and publish The Beast of Dublin in 2015–hopefully in the first half of that year. That means that, realistically, the earliest book 5 will come out is 2016. I’m not able to properly research and write these books faster than that–some writers crank books out every few months, but I’m not one of them.

  2. When referring to the shipping rate of $6 only in the continental US, does this include Alaska since it is part of North America? Or do you mean contiguous US, which does not include Alaska or Hawaii?
